Job summary

Main duties of the job

You will be required work with in the NMC standards of nursing practice.

Complete general nursing duties, including medication rounds etc.

You will be looking after acute surgical patients, post operative patients, occasional medical patients.

Facilitating the patient's care plan and liaising with the wider MDT.

Supporting with the flow of patients throughout the hospital.

Working as part of ward 14 team.

The shifts are rotational, seven days per week. You will be required to workdays and nights including weekend days/nights on a rotational basis, following a Trust Induction Programme and a Ward Orientation Programme on days, plus a band 5 preceptorship programme.
