Job summary

Are you a newly qualified podiatrist, in the early stages of your career, looking to return to practice, or an HCPC-registered podiatrist with experience in another setting who would like to build a career in community services? If so, we'd love to hear from you.

Through our structured preceptorship programme, dedicated clinical supervision and supportive team environment, we'll help you gain the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to thrive in community podiatry practice.

We are looking for an enthusiastic HCPC-registered Podiatrist to join our friendly and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity to broaden your clinical experience within a community podiatry service that is committed to professional development, learning and career progression.

Main duties of the job

As a Band 5 Podiatrist, you will work alongside experienced clinicians to assess and treat a diverse range of patients, including those at risk of lower limb complications. You will develop your clinical skills through structured support, supervision and training while managing your own caseload appropriate to your level of experience. Based from either Ipswich or Bury St Edmunds, you will work across a range of community clinic settings, gaining valuable experience delivering podiatry care to patients across Suffolk and South Norfolk.

You will:

  • Assess, diagnose and treat patients presenting with a variety of podiatric conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans with support from senior colleagues.
  • Build experience in managing patients with complex and high-risk foot conditions.
  • Participate in nail surgery clinics and other specialist services as your skills develop.
  • Work as part of the wider multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
