Job overview
The Primary Care Complex Emotional Needs Service is an intermediate psychological service that sits between Talking Therapies and secondary mental health services.
The service provides psychological interventions for clients who experience difficulties that may be associated with a personality disorder, as well as clients with PTSD/CPTSD whose needs fall between Talking Therapies and secondary mental health services.
We offer a range of interventions across both pathways and work closely with AWP Access Services to help ensure clients are offered the most appropriate pathway for their needs.
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioner (MHWP) to join our team. The role involves providing brief psychological interventions and co-facilitating therapeutic groups for clients with Complex Emotional Needs and PTSD/CPTSD.
This is an opportunity for a practitioner looking to broaden their experience of working with clients presenting with Complex Emotional Needs and PTSD/CPTSD, while developing skills within a specialist service that bridges the gap between primary and secondary care.
