Job summary
We have a vacancy within our established and supportive team of SLTs, who work closely with other Paediatric Therapy Teams.
This post is a fixed term position to support the Experts at Hand Plan associated with the SEND Reform. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to developing universal SLT resources that will be used in early years, primary and secondary school settings, as well as supporting implementation of targeted support for CYP.
We welcome applications from experienced Band 4 SLTAs who have experience working with children with additional needs.

Main duties of the job
As a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant you will be required to support children with speech, language and communication needs, as well as coach parents and staff to support their needs. You will be working collaboratively with our supportive, experienced team and independently, carrying out programmes set by SLTs.
Clinical work is undertaken in educational settings, clinics and family homes as appropriate for individual children.
