An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time experienced Administrator to work within the Solihull Community Perinatal Mental Health Team.

Our PNMHT's provide assessment, specialist support, treatment and care planning for service users with functional mental health problems such as depression and psychotic mental illness. The service is multidisciplinary and operates within an integrated hub alongside other services but use our own dedicated space with a separate entrance from other teams..

As administrator you will be the first point of contact for patients/staff and visitors to the base and it is essential that you present in a friendly and approachable manner.

Main duties of the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time experienced Administrator to work within the Solihull Community  Perinatal Mental Health Team.

Our team  provide assessment, specialist support, treatment and care planning for service users with functional mental health problems such as depression and psychotic mental illness. The service is multidisciplinary and operates from Maple leaf centre but use our own dedicated space with a separate entrance from other teams.

As an administrator you will be the first point of contact for patients/staff and visitors to the team and it is essential that you present in a friendly and approachable manner.

The post holder will undertake a wide range of reception and administrative duties. These will include the monitoring, recording and booking of appointments and managing a busy telephone line, the receiving of all incoming mail and ensuring action is taken appropriately, processing clinical letters and other correspondence.

You will work in conjunction with other team members; ensuring administrative support is available to all members of the team. This will include liaison with multi-disciplinary team members, other health professionals, GP’s, social workers, service users, and other appropriate agencies.

It is essential that applicants are able to work on their own initiative, demonstrate effective organisational and administrative skills.
