Job summary

Main duties of the job

The post holder will work as an integral part of the clinical team ensuring there is a seamless approach to the provision of non-clinical services ensuring a high quality service to patients an provide a service that ensure that the patient and ward requirements are met.

They will assist the clinical manager, ward colleagues, catering and housekeeping operatives to ensure that the appropriate and effective delivery of services are in order to ensure that the patients environment and services are maintained. They will work within the multidisciplinary team to perform additional duties as and when directed by the clinical team, these duties may include:

- clinical audits,

- Reporting repairs ensure that the ward environment remains safe,

- Maintaining a clean, tidy and welcoming ward environment, abiding by infection control and health and safety regulations,

- Monitoring, ordering and organising ward stock essentials, ensuring that the ward has the correct supplies to function safety and effectively,

- Work collaboratively with the ward catering staff supporting with meal services, tea rounds and ensuring adequate snacks are provided to patients in line with their nutritional and cultural choices/needs.
