We are seeking a clinical support worker to join our provision of enhanced support for children and young people with autism and / or learning disabilities who are at risk of psychiatric admission.
The post holder will be a member of the DICE (Disability Intensive Care Enhanced) team, who work to prevent avoidable psychiatric admissions for children and young people with learning disabilities and / or autism.
The DICE team provides intensive support for children and young people with learning disabilities and/or autism during times of crisis and recovery when discharged back to the care of community services.
Our aim is to prevent avoidable hospital admissions, stabilise crises, and support recovery in the community.
The team provides short term intensive intervention, working collaboratively with individuals, families, carers, and local services, to stabilise and enable people to live safely and meaningfully in the community.
Clinical support workers play a vital role in this work, ensuring that care plans are enacted and providing direct input for the children, young people and their families.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Clinical Support Worker (Band 3) to join our team. You will work directly with people and families in crisis, providing practical, therapeutic, and emotional support under the supervision of registered clinicians.
