An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pharmacy Dispensary Assistant to join our team at Queen’s Hospital, Pharmacy.

Your duties will include:

    Dispensing medication for Inpatients and Outpatients.      Dispensing Controlled Drugs     Stock management including receiving and checking orders, checking expiry dates and general housekeeping duties within the dispensary.     Reception duties including receiving prescriptions

You must hold a Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Pharmacy Service Skills (QCF) or equivalent. Ideally you should have worked in a Pharmacy Hospital environment but welcome applications from candidates with community Pharmacy experience.

You must be hard working, methodical and accurate, flexible & have a good attendance record. Experience of working with computers and the general public is essential.

Queen’s Hospital provides full 7-day working and this post will involve some late, weekend and Bank Holiday shifts.
