Job summary

You are the first point of contact in a busy ED reception area at Good Hope Hospital. You are responsible for booking in patients and ambulances on to the PAS system, taking calls and messages, booking fracture clinic appointments and scanning documents in a timely manner.

We currently have 2 posts available

30 hours - 4 days a week

22.5 hours - 3 days a week

The shift pattern is

Earlies - 07:00am - 15:00pm

Lates - 15:00pm - 23:00pm

Nights - 23:00pm - 07:00am

There is an option of Nights only

This also includes weekends and bank holidays.

Book patients in

Book Ambulances in

Answer telephone

Admissions onto PICS

Scanning documents

Printing labels and wristbands

Deal with general queries
