We have an exciting opportunity to welcome to our team an Assistant Psychologist with a clear passion for working adults with acquired neurological conditions

The  Psychology Service within the Community Neuro Rehab Team provides specialist psychological intervention to patients with acquired neurological conditions across Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin. You will join a growing service, working in a supportive and cohesive team multidisciplinary team, to support and enhance the delivery of high quality psychological healthcare.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reflective and creative Assistant Psychologist who has experience of working with adults.

Main duties of the job

This Assistant Psychologist role involves supporting and enhancing clinical psychology input within the Community Neuro Rehab Service.

The post holder will have opportunity to contribute to: direct clinical work under the supervision of a qualified Clinical Psychologist; psychological assessment and intervention;  individual and group interventions with patients and their carers; analysing and reporting on outcome measurement data; patient engagement activities; production of clinical/teaching/training materials; audit and service evaluation projects; developing the use of digital technology.
