Job overview

We are seeking to appoint 2 enthusiastic and highly motivated psychology graduates who are keen to gain experience in order to progress towards applied training in psychological practice. One post is on the Greenwich Mental Health Support Team (MHST) and the other in Bexley MHST.

Main duties of the job

The posts are focused upon supporting data collection processes for Children and Young Peoples IAPT (CYP-IAPT), including clinical outcome monitoring and service–user satisfaction. The role involves supporting clinical staff in using and interpreting routine outcome measures, analysing data, producing reports and training staff in outcome measures. Having good IT skills and knowledge of Excel and SPSS would be an advantage. Excellent communication skills are necessary to be able to liaise and support clinical staff and teams, and an interest in working with children and young people is essential. The post will be supervised by a Clinical Psychologist. Although the primary task in this role is to support data collection there will be opportunities to undertake clinical work under supervision.

Both teams are friendly, busy and thriving CYP CAMHS services, providing early mental health intervention to CYP/families within a number of local primary and secondary schools.
