Head of Development & Partnerships Band 8c St Georges Health & Wellbeing Hub, Hornchurch Are you an experienced strategic leader who wants to help shape the future of neighbourhood health and wellbeing? St Georges Health & Wellbeing Hub brings NHS services, social care, voluntary and community organisations, creative health provision, and community services together under one roof, creating an exciting platform for closer collaboration around the needs of Havering residents. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Head of Development & Partnerships to lead the next stage of the Hubs partnership development, integrated services model and future growth. This is a role with real scope to influence and innovate. You will develop strategic relationships across health, care and the wider community, bringing partners together to turn shared ambitions into practical improvements for residents.
Main duties of the job
You will lead work across partnership and governance arrangements, integrated clinical pathways, community use, and strategic development, while identifying opportunities for innovation, income generation, external funding and long-term sustainability. We are looking for a credible, collaborative, and forward-thinking senior leader with significant experience in partnership development, strategic service development, programme leadership, or business development. You will be comfortable working across organisational boundaries, influencing senior stakeholders and translating complex ideas into deliverable programmes. NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers, and attend a number of drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Goodmayes Hospital.
Probationary Period This post will be subject to a probationary period.
High Cost Area Supplement – Outer London (B&D, Redbridge, Havering and Waltham Forest, Goodmayes) This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £4,870 to a maximum of £6,137 p.a. pro rata for part time).
