Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 2 Administrator / Receptionist within the Children Looked After Team in the Early Intervention and Prevention Care Group.

The team is responsible for arranging statutory medicals, for children in care and for adoptions and will work closely with other Health Boards and outside Agencies.

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Children Looked After Team based at  Woodland House, however there is a consultation process in place whereby the team could move to Llandough Hospital

This is a busy and varied office-based role, covering a wide range of clerical duties including dealing with queries from parents, outside agencies and health professionals at all levels.  The role can sometimes be quite demanding and therefore an ability to work autonomously, prioritise tasks as well as respond to instruction is essential.
