Job overview

Rural Alliance  Care Community  Team are looking for an admin assistant to join the team.  We are a hardworking but happy professional team providing care and support to patients across the Western Cheshire footprint.

Working as part of the team you will undertake a range of clerical tasks, including processing of referrals, scanning/photocopying and uploading documents to electronic records, answering telephone calls and forwarding/redirecting calls, arranging meetings and taking meeting notes).

Within this role you will have contact with patients, carers, families, and other health professionals.  The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, a flexible ‘can do’ approach, and a professional, friendly and welcoming manner.

This vacancy is 37.5 hours ( to work 5 days out of 7)

The Trust currently supports the Real Living Wage (RLW) hourly rate as set by the Living Wage Federation and will apply a pay supplement if the national A4C hourly rate falls below this.

Main duties of the job

  • To undertake a full range of administrative/reception responsibilities. •    Good communication skills are essential as the post holder will need to liaise directly with patients, carers, families and other professionals. •    A working knowledge of general office procedures and Microsoft packages is required, but full training will be provided on CWP systems.
