Job overview
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, compassionate, flexible and well-motivated Admin Team Lead to provide necessary administrative support, enabling the efficient and effective functioning of the ever-expanding Talking Therapies service.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to use your skills and experience to be responsible for supporting and working alongside an experienced team.
This is a varied role, providing a comprehensive administrative service to our leadership team, therapy colleagues and patients on our waitlist. The post holder will be required to manage and prioritise their day-to-day workload and use their initiative, without direct supervision. This will require excellent organisational skills, the ability to work to deadlines, a proactive attitude in solving problems and queries with frequent interruptions. You will be supporting the admin team and wider team on a daily basis. The post holder will need to be calm and patient, demonstrating a caring and sensitive approach to their work, together with an understanding of confidentiality and information governance, you will have excellent communication skills to deal with sometimes complex and difficult issues.
Main duties of the job
To provide the necessary administrative support to enable the efficient and effective functioning of the ever expanding Talking Therapies service. This includes but is not limited to:
- Line management of colleagues within team (including supervision and appraisal)
- Providing administrative support for the Talking Therapies leadership team
- Providing a consistent effective service to the members of the public and team members in the context of a diverse and varying workload
- Ensuring the rota is aligned with day-to-day tasks and responsibilities
- Being the first point of contact for queries from admin colleagues
