Job summary
An opportunity for an experienced ADHD Pharmacist to join a new primary-care led ADHD service in Crawley, West Sussex.
This role is for a dedicated Independent Prescriber with proven experience in mental health, primary or secondary care settings with an interest in ADHD. You will play a key role in supporting patients with ADHD and other complex mental health conditions, delivering safe, high-quality care through remote assessments, reviews, and prescribing.
This role offers the flexibility of remote working while allowing you to make a direct impact on patient wellbeing and service innovation in ADHD care. Training will be provided where required.
Main duties of the job
- Conduct comprehensive ADHD medication reviews and mental health assessments via secure remote platforms
- Prescribe ADHD and psychotropic medications safely, adhering to NICE guidelines, local formularies, and Trust policies
- Monitor and manage patients with complex and high-risk presentations, ensuring appropriate follow-up and escalation
- Optimise pharmacological treatment, considering drug efficacy, side effects, and patient adherence
- Provide specialist advice to clinicians on ADHD and mental health medication management
