Main duties of the job

This role as an Activities Driver primarily involves providing safe, timely, and courteous transportation for residents to and from various activities, ensuring a quality service. Responsibilities include assisting residents with special needs during transportation, such as carrying packages, opening doors, and assisting residents into and out of vehicles, as well as to their destinations. Drivers must focus on driving while directing passenger interactions to onboard support staff when the vehicle is in motion. Additionally, the role involves providing miscellaneous pickup and delivery services as needed.

Assisting residents with any special needs during transportation, such as carrying packages, opening doors, assisting residents onto and out of the vehicle, and assisting residents to the point of destination required. Always focusing on driving; directs tasks and passenger interactions to onboard support staff while the vehicle is in motion. Providing miscellaneous pickup and delivery services as needed.ABOUT YOUTo be successful in your application, you must live our values of caring, support, honesty, respect, and accountability in everything you do.Our ideal candidate must: Have a PCV license with Cat D1 and an acceptable driving record. Attend periodic Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) training as required. Be knowledgeable of all safety precautions and comply with safety procedures.
