To participate and control all aspects of the Accommodation Housekeeping Service Level Agreements and support the total Accommodation operational service delivery model by ensuring that works are carried out and that a quality service is provided at all times whilst promoting good business relationships between Management and Staff and supporting the residents experience.
Main duties of the job
- Conducting routine cleaning inspections on a weekly basis and checking to ensure high quality services are delivered at all times, supporting the Accommodation Manager in the operational delivery of the service.
- Understanding of Accommodation Service Level Agreements between the Estates & Facilities Business unit to ensure services are delivered accordingly and in a cost-effective manner.
- Planning and organization of complex activities and programmes, including the formulation and adjustment of plans; examples include: Agreeing staff, rotas, carrying out audit action plans and cleaning activities in liaison with Accommodation Manager.
- Ensuring there are appropriate systems of work to maintain accurate time sheets, annual leave, sickness and maternity records and accurate recording of this data on appropriate systems.
- Ensuring that cleaning duties and frequencies are carried out and booking system updated.
- Undertaking cleaning audits/health and safety inspections.

Knowledge
Essential
- Trained in use of cleaning equipment and machinery.
- Good understanding of Health and Safety issues and COSHH management
Experience
Essential
- Minimum of 2 years cleaning and supervisory experience in the NHS
- Able to supervise, co- ordinate, motivate and lead teams both small and big.
Qualifications
Essential
- NVQ level 3 in cleaning or equivalent experience
Desirable
- Trained to British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc).
