The Role

The working pattern for this role is - Coatbridge HC (Monday 4pm - 9.30pm) & Cumbernauld (Friday 9am - 3.46pm)

In this key role, you will:

  • General reception duties.
  • Dealing with enquiries, either face-to-face or by telephone, from the general public, patients and external agencies
  • Effective and efficient use of a PC and relevant software packages to ensure accurate information is available at all times.
  • Resolve disputed appointment times, offer new appointments and re-arrange existing appointments.

What You'll Bring:

  • Educated to standard grade level or experience in a similar role
  • Well developed interpersonal skills in customer care.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good organisational and planning skills

From 1 April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will reduce from 37 hours to 36 hours. Part-time working hours will be reduced on a pro-rata basis. A corresponding increase in the hourly rate will apply, ensuring that overall pay remains unchanged.
