Job summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic GP to join our friendly practice for a 12 month fixed term period (with the view of extending). You will be fully supported by our multi-disciplinary team in order to provide and maintain the highest possible standard of care for our patients. We require 4 sessions per week, to be worked on Wednesday am, Thursday am and all day Friday.
Main duties of the job
Core duties
Direct clinical care: consulting with patients in person/telephone/home visits as agreed, managing acute and long term conditions, making urgent or safety critical referrals.
Indirect clinical care: results, repeat prescriptions, correspondence, tasks and referrals
Participation in practice activity: clinical/admin meetings, significant event learning, QI, and supporting practice protocols. Some roles include teaching, supervision or defined special interests.

We consist of 2 purpose built premises to accommodate our growing list size of approx. 7500 patients. Both sites are traditional rural dispensing practices
We use EMIS Web, Docman and Lexacom digital dictation & AccuRx.
We are a training practice and welcome trainee doctors and medical students from both Warwickshire and Oxfordshire.
We are exceptionally high QOF achieving, rated good by CQC and received excellent results from the recent national patient survey and have recently won 2025 General Practice Award in Sustainability.
Our supportive team is made up of 2 GP partners, 3 salaried GPs, ANP, 2 Practice Nurses & 1 HCA, along with a dedicated dispensary team, admin team and reception team.
We actively participate in our local PCN and Federation. Very low home visiting rates.
No residential or nursing homes.
Practice area consists of numerous idyllic villages in countryside close to Leamington Spa, Stratford upon Avon and Banbury with easy access to motorway network via M40.
