PLEASE NOTE: We are only currently recruiting for the Pamela Bryant Unit in Teddington Memorial hospital.
At Kingston Hospital the ward receptionists are based on Derwent ward and at Teddington Memorial in the Pamela Bryant Unit.
They help support the smooth running of hospital administration systems. This role is best suited to volunteers who enjoy an organised and systematic approach to tasks.
You’ll be volunteering in a team of nurses, healthcare assistants, therapists, other healthcare professionals and volunteers to deliver a warm welcome to the ward.
No previous experience is required. We just need your commitment, patience, enthusiasm and reliability.
Your role is likely to include tasks such as: customer service duties such as meeting and greeting visitors/patients, answering telephones and passing on messages and supporting with simple filing tasks.
Essential Information:

Please kindly note, you will be given a 20-minute assessment on the week commencing either the 14th July, 21st July or 28th July at the Volunteering office at Kingston Hospital.
The Mandatory training for this role will be on Tuesday 9th September 2025.
