We are pleased to announce that an opportunity for an experienced RMN Band 6 and above, to lead our Multi-Disciplinary Team on our adult acute inpatient ward.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and highly motivated nurse who is; committed, caring, compassionate, have good leadership and problem solving skills, excellent communication skills, the ability to work as part of the multi-disciplinary team and a positive attitude to service developments and quality improvement.

Main duties of the job

Responsible for the operational management of clinical area. Lead and effectively manage the ward nursing team. Ensure high standards of evidence-based, patient centered care are maintained. To establish and maintain systems for clinical governance. To effectively and efficiently manage ward budget and resources. To promote good communication within the team and with external agencies.
