Main duties of the job

To co-ordinate patient care within AMU, to act as a role model and provide specialist advice. To support the Matron to ensure that high quality, patient focused care is delivered by actively participating in the day to day clinical and operational management of the department. To work with the AMU team on professional nursing issues and management of clinical governance. Act as a Team Leader for junior members of staff.
