Job overview

We are looking for a highly motivated, well organised, enthusiastic individual to work flexibly as the Ward receptionist on Gwynne Holford Ward at the Queen Mary's Hospital Site. The ward is a busy 36 bedded Amputee and Neuro- rehabilitation unit. The post is required to work flexibly to cover a seven-day service for the ward and within the neuroscience directorate.

You will be responsible for providing comprehensive and confidential clerical activities to meet the needs of the ward, in accordance with departmental and Trust policies and procedures.

You will need to be flexible with your work pattern to cover annual leave and sickness so that the service can continue to run efficiently.

We are primarily looking for people with excellent customer care skills, enthusiasm, a flexible approach and a professional attitude.

You will be expected to have excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
