Volunteer Group Co Facilitator - Adult Autism Service

Main duties of the job

What the role involves:

• To support and assist in the development and delivery of the groups offered by the service.
• To assist service users to participate in the groups.
• To provide support and encouragement to service users who find it difficult to engage in the group independently.
• To support maintenance of information for the group such as posters and session reports and feedback forms.
• To support the service in monitoring of mood and evaluation of the group/service.
• Engage and support people to complete outcome, experience and satisfaction questionnaires/surveys

• The knowledge, skills and attributes required for the role:
• Experience/knowledge of mental health
• Experience of working with parents and babies/young children
• A patience & caring nature
• Good communication skills.
• Punctuality and reliability
