The main purpose of the UGI Cross site MDT Co-ordinator role is to support the clinical team and patient pathways at the Cancer MDT Meetings at both West Middlesex and Chelsea to ensure that the Trust meets the requirements of the national Cancer Waiting Time Standards. This will involve collecting data from a variety of sources and entering the data items into the Trust’s cancer database Somerset. The post holder will need excellent organisational and communication skills and a good attention for detail to be successful in the role.
The UGI Cross site MDT Coordinator -will arrange cover and will co-ordinate the weekly/fortnightly/monthly MDT meetings for designated specialties to ensure they are run in accordance with the requirements of the national Manual of Cancer Services - this includes meetings outside of the main treatment MDTs, such as, Diagnostic MDTs
Clinical Support, Data Input/validation and completion and Cancer Wait Times adherence
The role is to support the UGI clinical team and patient pathways cross site as well as to support other tumour sites when required. The role is based over both Chelsea & West Middlesex Sites. Full detail of responsibilities can be found in the attached JD
