Job overview

Flexible shifts (usually 12 hours) Band 6 - £22.21 per hour + WTD. We are looking for experienced and motivated individuals to work in our quality team of Registered Midwives in our acute hospitals.  Benefit from our competitive rates of pay, flexible working hours, and varied assignments. You will need to be familiar with the full range of midwifery duties and committed to delivering high quality care. Therefore applicants must have a minimum of 1 year NHS (or similar) recent experience as a qualified registered Midwife. Please note that pay is weekly or monthly for Bank staff

We welcome applications from those who currently hold a UK NMC registration. If you currently hold an overseas nursing qualification and require sponsorship we are not currently direct hiring Internationally Qualified Midwives.

Main duties of the job

You will have the opportunity to work within a variety of settings to provide women/birthing people with holistic and individualised care.

We are a tight knit team working closely together to provide women/birthing people and their families with high quality, evidence based midwifery care. You will need to be a highly motivated team player, committed to drive forward an innovative service with the existing team.  Midwives with a commitment to provide safe, cohesive and collaborative working is essential.
