Respiratory Unit

Trust Fellows (ST4 – ST7+) in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine

Applications are invited to join our paediatric respiratory fellowship programme. This has been running for 20 years and is the largest and longest established in the UK, training multiple consultants in the UK and internationally.

The GOSH respiratory service is the largest tertiary/quaternary referral unit for complex paediatric lung disease in the UK. There is a busy inpatient and outpatient service with clinics for asthma, CF, lung transplantation, long term ventilation and complex lung disease.

These posts are designed for paediatric trainees who wish to subspecialise in paediatric respiratory medicine; those part way through subspeciality training; and doctors who have completed training and desire additional experience prior to a consultant post. Applicants must have at least 2 years general paediatric experience, MRCPCH or equivalent.

For further information contact Dr Claire Edmondson, ([email protected])

Main duties of the job

These posts are suitable for doctors who have previous experience in paediatric medicine and are post MRCPCH or equivalent. They may be wishing to pursue a career in paediatric respiratory medicine or be keen to acquire further experience in the specialty.
