GREAT ORMOND STREET HOSPITAL FOR CHILDREN NHS FOUNDATION TRUST
Respiratory Unit
Trust Fellows (ST2 – ST7+) in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine
One post to commence at beginning March 2026, for 6 months with possibility of applying for extension.
Applications are invited to join our paediatric respiratory fellowship programme. This has been running for almost 20 years, and is the largest and longest established in the UK, training multiple consultants in the UK and internationally.
The GOSH respiratory service is the largest tertiary/quaternary referral unit for complex paediatric lung disease in the UK. There is a busy inpatient and outpatient service with clinics for complex asthma, CF, lung transplantation, long term ventilation and complex lung disease.
On this occasion we are able to accept applicants at multiple stages of training. We will consider trainees who are early in their general paediatric training and are considering a future in paediatric respiratory medicine; trainees who are already training in paediatric respiratory medicine; and doctors who have completed training and desire additional experience prior to a consultant post. Applicants must have GMC registration and license to practice, as the start date is relatively soon. Please do not apply if you do not have registration. We will shortly advertise a separate recruitment path for trainees without registration who wish to join our fellowship programme later in 2026 March 2012.
