Job overview

We are looking a Trust Grade Doctor who would be interested in joining the team as Trauma Governance Clinical Fellow. Developing skills in critical care  is a key part of becoming a well-rounded intensive care clinician. This fellowship offers a unique insight  into trauma and combines clinical work on the Adult Critical Care Unit (ACCU) with dedicated time for major trauma governance.

Main duties of the job

The fellow will join a multi-specialty governance team (critical care, trauma surgery, anaesthesia, emergency medicine, and prehospital medicine) and participate in weekly consultant-led Trauma Case Review and M&M meetings. The role includes opportunities to present cases and contribute to the educational outputs arising from the governance process.
