This post is available to employees of Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and resident doctors employed by the Lead Employer Trust within North East and North Cumbria.
We have opportunities for Trust Doctors within our Acute Medicine Department at Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital (NSECH) and our General Medicine Ward at Wansbeck General Hospital (WGH). Our posts offer an exciting opportunity to further develop your skills and gain clinical experience, together with self-development time tailored to your specific needs. There will be access to a Study Leave budget and the ability to attend additional training courses both internal and external.
It is envisaged you will gain a portfolio of competences and experiences that will enhance your future career, financial assistance will be given to allow you to obtain an extension to your E-portfolio access if required.
You will have a designated Clinical Supervisor during your appointment and you will be able to arrange to attend the Trust's local Internal Medicine teaching programme.
