Trust Doctor (eqv. to ST3+) in Geriatric and rehabilitation Medicine Fixed Term 12 months Whipps Cross Hospital Our OPS (Older People’s Services) team is growing, and we would like you to be a part of our fantastic workforce. We are advertising for a 12-month fixed term Trust Doctor (ST3+equivalent) post to cover the Ainslie rehabilitation unit and commencing as soon as possible. The Ainslie rehabilitation unit is based in the north of Chingford and is separate from Whipps Cross Hospital.  This post will sit within the department of Older People’s Services at Whipps cross who are recruiting on behalf of the Northeast London foundation trust (NELFT). The post holder will be based at Ainslie rehabilitation unit for the duration of the post.

The successful applicant will be able to develop individualised educational goals. This post presents excellent opportunities to develop clinical skills in geriatric and rehabilitation medicine. This post provides a good educational opportunity and if the post holder is interested they will be able to gain audit, research, or teaching experience by linking up with the Whipps cross team. Full MRCP is desirable though if you hold MRCP 1 part and above or equivalent qualification, you may be considered. You should have a current full registration with the General Medical Council and have experience across a broad range of Medical Subspecialties. Ainslie rehabilitation unit serves a local population with a high degree of frailty and multi-morbidity.
