An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a team supporting the specialist business support functions and the development of adult social work and social care services in an integrated Health and Social Care service.
NHS Highland is looking to recruit a Transactions & Income Administrator to work within the existing Self Directed Support Team supporting the processes which ensure the accurate and timely payment of care providers and collection of service user care contributions.
The successful person will be part of a team of administrators liaising with providers, service users, and families, together with internal NHS Highland functions. Alongside responsibility for recording information in a timely and accurate manner, the role provides a focal point for advice and assistance for financial matters related to services provided within people homes by third party care providers.
In order to be able to carry out the duties of this post effectively and safely, candidates should provide evidence of a wide range of office administration and clerical experience, plus good MS Office IT skills. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong numeracy and literacy skills. Effective team working is required but there is also a key need to be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills and the maintenance of a high level of confidentiality are also vital.
