We are pleased to offer an exciting and unique opportunity for a healthcare professional to develop their career as a Sonographer.

We are looking for a dynamic, highly motivated individual to take on a fixed term training post with us, there are two opportunities available. One trainee will be based at St Mary’s hospital, the second at Hammersmith hospital.

With the support of the local multidisciplinary ultrasound teams you will be fully supported to complete a postgraduate diploma over an 18-month period.

You will be enrolling on the King’s college medical ultrasound programme from September 2025.  Applicants should ensure they meet the minimum academic requirements of this programme, only those who do will be considered.

The ultrasound service across our trust is extensive and varied, you will initially be developing your general ultrasound skills in abdominal and pelvic imaging with the opportunity for specialist development in your second academic year. This will take place with the close mentorship of our expert sonographer team and world-renowned Consultant radiologists.

We have a very strong track record of employment for our trainees upon completion of their training.
