Job overview

Train to become a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner with NHS Northamptonshire Talking Therapies and help people make meaningful chamges to their mental health and wellbeing.  This rewarding role combines study and hands-on clinical experience, supporting adults with common mental health difficulties through evidence-based interventions.

We are looking for compassionate, resilient and motivated individuals who are passionate about inproving access to mental health support.  You will need excellent communication skills, empathy, organisiation and a genuine commitment to helping others achieve recovery and positive change.

Main duties of the job

As a trainee PWP, you will support adults experiencing common mental health difficulties such as anxiety and depression within NHS Talking Therapies.  You will complete assessments, manage a supervised caseload and deliver evidence-based low-intentsity interventions through face-to-face, telephone and digital appoitments.

Alongside university training, you will help people developself-managment skills, promote recovery and maintainaccurate clinical records while working within a supportive multidisciplinary team.
