Job overview

Start your Perfusion career in one of the UK's leading Paediatric Cardiac Centres.  Are you looking to begin a highly specialised and rewarding career in clinical perfusion?

Join Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust, one of the largest and most renowned paediatric centres in the world. As the Level 1 Centre for Congenital Cardiology in the North West of England, we provide specialist cardiac services to a population of over 7 million children and young people across Merseyside, the North-West, North and Mid Wales, and the Isle of Man.

With over 2,800 staff, Alder Hey is one of only four stand-alone paediatric trusts in the UK, offering a unique opportunity to train within a centre of excellence.

THIS IS A BAND 7 ANNEX 21 post:

This is an Annex 21 post for 2 years. The salary would be paid at 70% of the top of band 7 for the 1st year, 75% of the top of band 7 for the 2nd year. If this takes the salary under national minimum wage, it will be topped up to comply with the national minimum wage.

After completion of 2 years training, you will then be qualified as a Band 7, so you will move to the starting point of Band 7, on a permanent contract.
