Here at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay Hospitals Trust we have an exciting opportunity for an 18 month fixed term full-time training post in Echocardiography.  This is part of the Echocardiography Training Programme developed by the National School of Healthcare Science and funded by Health Education England.

This will be a Cross Bay post with  Furness General Hospital as the Hospital Base.

University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay Hospitals Trust Clinical Investigation Unit provides a wide range of invasive and non- invasive services. We have a dedicated Cardiac centre based a Westmorland offering Angiography, pacing and CRT services and an established Dobutamine Stress echo service.

You will be paid trainee salary: Pay will be Annex U/21:

  • Year 1 - 70% of the top of a Band 6 • Year 2 - 75% of the top of a Band 6
