Bedfordshire Talking Therapies are hiring Trainee / Apprentice Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners.

Depending on your level of qualification, it will be decided post interview the best route for you whether this is the Trainee or Apprentice option.

It is a requirement for the Apprenticeship that you have GSCE or equivalent in Maths and English. Please can you ensure you have your certificates and have these available to show at your interview.

Main duties of the job

This Apprentice / Trainee PWP post is a training role where the post-holder will work within the service providing low intensity interventions at Step 2, whilst undertaking a programme of training for this role.  The training post will equip the post-holder to provide a range of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) based self-management interventions to patients with mild to moderate anxiety and depression. The post-holder will attend all taught and self-study days required by the education provider (2 days per week), as specified within National Low Intensity curriculum, and work in the service for the remaining 3 days of the week, using their newly-developed skills
