Role Definition
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced clinician to join our Critical Care team as a Trainee Advanced Critical Care Practitioner (tACCP). During a formal two-year training period, the post holder will balance clinical duties with the successful completion of an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice, including Non-Medical Prescribing (NMP).
Operating under the supervision of a Medical Lead and ACCP Mentor, the trainee will develop the skills to undertake comprehensive clinical assessments, perform invasive interventions, and initiate complex treatment plans. The role bridges the gap between traditional professional boundaries, contributing to the medical tier and providing expert, evidence-based care to the critically ill while fulfilling the requirements of the FICM ACCP Curriculum.
