An exciting opportunity for a Community Generic Worker has arisen in the Bury Town Integrated Neighbourhood Team (INT).  The team is made up of nursing, therapy and community matrons and work closely with colleagues across health and social care.

The team are based in Technology House in the historic market town of Bury St Edmunds surrounded by picturesque countryside and villages.

The INTs are a dynamic and exciting place to work and offers opportunity to develop and learn in a friendly and supported way.

Main duties of the job

Following training and development as required you will be providing therapy support to patients in the community.

You will be visiting patients in their own homes and delivering care in line with treatment plans in place by registered therapists within your team. .

As well as the essential person specifications as on the job description, you will need to have good communication skills, initiative, and be flexible.

Experience of working in the health and social care field would be an advantage.

There is opportunity to develop and learn new skills relevant to community working offering the scope to learn new skills and ways of working.
