Job overview

Fantastic opportunities exist for Therapeutic Radiographers within the Radiotherapy Department at Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre.

Our department is placed at the heart of Bristol, a vibrant cosmopolitan city with plenty of entertainment and leisure facilities close by, guaranteed to provide a lively lifestyle.

You will have the opportunity to rotate through a large department gaining experience on  5 Elekta linear accelerators and our pre-treatment area which has 2 dedicated CT scanners with virtual simulation, ultrasound and MRI facilities.

In addition, we provide highly specialised treatment such as Clarity Ultrasound, Gamma Knife Stereotactic Radiotherapy, Paediatric Radiotherapy and SABR for multiple sites.  We have an HDR brachytherapy service treating gynaecological, prostate, oesophageal, and skin lesions. There is also a molecular radiotherapy department with increasing activity as new treatments are available.

We welcome applications from both qualified radiographers and also students qualifying in summer 2026.

If you are newly qualified, we offer a preceptorship programme to support you in the transition from student to qualified staff member. All staff are involved in the development of the service and we actively encourage continual professional development including opportunities for post graduate learning to develop skills to promote patient centred care.
