We are seeking a highly motivated, professional Theatre practitioner to work within a very busy Emergency and Orthopaedic trauma speciality theatre unit.
We are looking for a dynamic individual, we can develop skills in Orthopaedic trauma , General, MFU, ENT, Vascular, Urology, Plastics Surgeries and as an Anaesthetic practitioner.
You will have the motivation, and vision necessary to develop into a key member of the A Theatres team, and deliver high standards of Perioperative care, working within our team to meet the needs of an ever changing and fast evolving theatre department.

Develop scrub skills in Orthopaedic trauma , General, MFU, ENT, Vascular, Urology and plastics Surgeries
Develop skills as an Anaesthetic Practitioner with responsibility for attending MET and Trauma/ Resus calls as well as assisting in the safe provision of Anaesthesia for a wide variety of surgical procedures.
Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring smooth coordination during complex surgeries and trauma cases.
Support emergency airway management and advanced vascular procedures in line with centre protocols.
Provide out of hours service as part of weekend and night team
Role model through behaviours and practice when carrying out clinical duties.
Be flexible in clinical practice with the ability to move between specialities and roles as required.
Maintain aseptic techniques and infection control standards at all times.
Comply with all policies, guidelines, and protocols, including those related to infection control, health and safety, and safeguarding.
Provide compassionate care that meets individual patient needs, particularly in high-pressure and emergency scenarios.
Deliver clear and empathetic communication to patients and families, ensuring they feel supported throughout their journey.
Act at all times in a manner that upholds the reputation of the Trust and safeguards the well being and dignity of patients and their relatives
Act always in accordance with the HCPC/NMC Code of Conduct and Guidance documents and maintain active status on HCPC/NMC Register.
Take every reasonable opportunity to sustain and improve knowledge.
Identify objectives within a PDP that support the delivery of high standards of clinical care.
Support junior staff, nursing students, and ODP trainees, fostering an environment of learning and professional development.
Comply with all policies, guidelines, and protocols, including those related to infection control, health and safety, and safeguarding.
Report and document incidents promptly and accurately in line with clinical governance standards.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills through continuous professional development (CPD) activities and training.
Attend regular in-service training to remain competent in trauma, airway, and vascular Specialties.
