Join a dynamic, supportive, and forward-thinking critical care team within a leading children’s tertiary referral centre, an integral part of the regional major trauma network.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and committed Theatre Practitioners to join our team in Scrub and/or Anaesthetic roles.

This opportunity is open to both newly qualified and experienced professionals, with rotational options available across both areas for Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs).

Main duties of the job

Reporting into the Team leader in theatre and to a Clinical lead, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • You will be expected to work within a self-contained theatre team on a daily basis.
  • Utilise clinical and risk assessment skills to maintain a safe environment.
  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the care plans for children/young people and their familiespresenting for care within the framework of the nursing/theatre team.
