An exciting opportunity has become available to make a significant contribution to our CAMHS service as a Team Lead across Hull and East Riding.

Are you passionate about improving mental health services for children and young people? Do you believe that children, young people and their families in Hull and East Riding deserve high quality interventions to match their needs? We require an RMN/RNLD, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist with the drive to join an experienced, highly motivated team of clinicians to deliver responsive and effective services in CAMHS as a Team Lead.

Main duties of the job

You will work collaboratively with other operational and clinical leads whilst directly line managing clinical staff and leading/managing a team whilst supporting with service developments.

You will share responsibility of managing waiting lists, identifying, and supporting training needs of staff, job planning, managing capacity and demand and working collaboratively with other agencies across Hull and East Riding to identify and support the needs of vulnerable children and those with an mental health needs.

You will support the service to be neuro affirming and support staff in ensuring individual needs are met. You will be a compassionate leader, supporting staff whilst being solution focused. This is an operational role but there will be an expectation of support to the clinical team and an understanding of child and adolescent health services would be beneficial.

Leadership training opportunities will be supported and encouraged.
