This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience within community psychosocial rehabilitation as a Team lead. This vacancy is in the Ealing Community Rehab Teams, based close to the Ealing Hospital site.

What we are looking for are highly motivated and enthusiastic clinicians with a passion for psychosocial rehabilitation who are excited by service development. The successful applicant will be supported by senior and professional management, as well as by a highly engaged team who are keen to continue to make positive changes. Previous experience of management is less important than commitment, drive and creativity in meeting the challenges for the team as we move into the future.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will be involved in the following:

  • Manage a small staff team of AHPs, nurses, social workers and support staff. There is also a role in overseeing the operational input of psychology and medical staff.
  • Taking a lead on the support and development of staff in the team.
  • Being part of a senior management team with overall responsibility for the ongoing development and direction of the rehab teams.
  • Taking responsibility for the overall performance and quality of the services the team provides.
  • Positively contributing ideas and putting in place plans to improve the quality of services.
  • Actively working with key stakeholders to promote rehab services.
  • Getting involved in areas of specialist interest and developing novel projects that improve service user care and experiences.
