Key Responsibilities are:
Highly Specialist Dietetics Assessment and Treatment: Provide specialized dietetic assessment and treatment for adults in the above localities
Integration into Multi-disciplinary Team: Represent the nutrition and dietetic service within the multi-disciplinary team to ensure a coordinated service delivery. Integrate nutritional advice seamlessly into the treatment program.
Patient-Centered Care: Demonstrate sensitivity, non-judgment, and professionalism in dealing with patients.
Accountability: Assume professional and legal accountability for all aspects of your work, including the management of patients/clients in your care.
Communication and Time Management: Possess excellent communication and time management skills to efficiently coordinate tasks and interactions with patients, carers, and fellow health professionals.
Line Management and Training: Exhibit experience in line management and student training, contributing to the development of team members.
Essential Criteria:
Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics or equivalent postgraduate degree. Significant experience as a specialist dietitian including home enteral feeding. Experience in complex diabetes dietetics. Experience in delivering Structured Education. Strong communication and time management skills. Line management experience. Experience in student training.
