An opportunity has arisen for a Team Administrator to join the Community Mental Health Teams across Dorset. This is a full time post of 37.5 hours per week, to be flexible between Monday and Friday.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the team of Physical Health Support Workers working across Primary and Secondary Care. The main duties will include typing appointment letters and dealing with incoming mail and telephone calls, diary coordination, including booking and rescheduling appointments with patients.

Applicants must have excellent communication skills, an organised and methodical approach to their duties and enjoy a very driven administrative role. They must also be a team player who can respond quickly and easily to changing priorities and demands. Exceptional organisational and IT skills are essential for this role as well the ability to prioritise tasks and workload. A flexible, co-operative approach will be important, as you will be joining a busy, friendly team, where you will receive regular supervision.

An understanding of the NHS is preferable but not essential, along with experience of working with an electronic patient record system.

You will operate a range of confidential manual and computerised information record systems; accurately maintain service user files and other local recording systems.
