Hours : 37.5 hrs pw. Mon-Fr 9-5pm
Early Intervention in Psychosis Service has an exciting opportunity to join the Worthing Team as Team Administrator Co-ordinator.
We are a friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team who work with people aged 14 – 65 who are experiencing their first episode of psychosis. Our hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. The post is based at Arun House, Liverpool Gardens in Worthing.
We are looking for a team administrator co-ordinator who will work alongside the team leader and team colleagues, assisting with the smooth running of the office base and assist with supporting service delivery, as well as providing supervision and leadership to the wider EIPS administration team.
Tasks will include: taking phone calls from service users, their families and professionals, minute taking, covering reception, typing of clinical letters and helping to maintain and input data for a number of audits and systems needed for the smooth running of the service.
We are looking for someone to join our enthusiastic and dedicated team, someone who is willing to provide administrative support to the whole team. You will be someone who’s strengths including; planning and organisational skills, excellent time management and someone who is adaptive and able to respond to the challenges of change and development of an exciting service.
A working knowledge of Word and Excel will be essential. Further training can be given for this and other NHS systems if required.
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team you will need to be able to communicate well and work with professionals from a variety of professional backgrounds and a have a compassionate, holistic and person-centred approach.
You will receive regular supervision and opportunities for training to develop your career.
There may be times when you will be required to provide admin support to other teams in Sussex and attend meetings in other locations. (In line with Trust policy expenses will be given to cover travel costs).

To provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to clinical staff including the manager, supervising the administration team and ensuring the smooth running of the office function, including ensuring sufficient cover is provided in times of sickness and annual leave. To be responsible for maintaining sickness and absence records for all staff and related employee information. To act as central secretarial and administrative contact point for the team. To supervise junior staff including, where appropriate, allocating workload and reviewing performance. To maintain an overview of the administration function and workflow within the team. To consistently deliver a client focussed service, which promotes good customer service and effective working relationships.
