This is run as a joint programme with City, St Georges University , split between clinical practice and university attendance.

Here at NELFT Health Visitors and School Nurses are leading the way in transforming services for children and families. We currently have teams of dedicated and talented Specialist Community Public Health Practitioners who are out in communities pioneering a new, holistic, and inclusive approach to 0-19 Children’s Universal and Early Intervention services.

Main duties of the job

Specialist Community Public Health Nursing Course Applications:  NELFT is delighted to invite applicants who are suitably qualified nurses to undertake the above course. Candidates must hold: •    Current NMC Registration for nursing or midwifery

  • Evidence of applying for NMC registration and confirmed NMC registration within 2 months of the start date.
  • The course will be at level 7 and candidates will require a 2:2 or evidence of study at Level 7.
  • Students will have the course paid for will receive a salary up to mid-point Band 5 (dependant on NHS experience)

Interview panels will consist of HEI, Trust representation, and service users (if available) Interviews are scheduled for week commencing 02.06.2025.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Candidates invited to interview are asked to provide:

  • Academic evidence of attainment of study at Level 7 or above for review by HEI representatives.
  • Evidence of recent study.
  • ID
