We’re looking for a dedicated and proactive individual to join our 0–19 Service as a Strategy Lead. This vital role sits within the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) and plays a key part in ensuring the health needs of children and young people are identified, represented, and shared during multi-agency strategy discussions.

Main duties of the job
Key responsibilities include:
- Attending and contributing to strategy meetings for children and young people.
- Independently sourcing and collating health information from the Integrated Children’s Division.
- Ensuring health perspectives are embedded in safeguarding decisions.
- Working autonomously within the MASH team while collaborating closely with partner agencies.

- Registered health professional (e.g., nurse, health visitor, school nurse) with current NMC registration.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation, procedures, and thresholds.
- Experience of working in multi-agency settings, ideally within a MASH or safeguarding context.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident in using electronic health records and information systems.
